On the desolate planet Arvala-7, Grogu, a youngling of the same species as the late Jedi Master Yoda, is held hostage in a mercenary camp. The relentless droid IG-11, designed to follow Bounty Hunters' Guild protocols, is on a mission to eliminate the child. However, after being destroyed and deactivated by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Mando), IG-11 is repaired and reprogrammed by Farmer Kuiil to protect Grogu, becoming the child's guardian and Mando's ally. After rescuing Grogu from two Imperial Scout Troopers on a mission to Nevarro, IG-11 heads to the local town to save Mando and his friends trapped in a canteen by Moff Gideon's Imperial troops. Riding a downed Scout's Speeder Bike, with Grogu safely in a bag strapped to his chest, IG-11 charges towards the enemies, just as seen in Season 1, Chapter 8: Redemption. Like a fearless gunslinger of the wild west, IG-11 invades Nevarro's city on the Speeder Bike, kicking up a cloud of dust as he fires his blaster rifles, eliminating Imperial Stormtroopers while protecting little Grogu. Even the innocent Baby Yoda seems to be enjoying the ride.
