Mando, initially tasked to capture Grogu, became his guardian against the Galactic Empire's remnants and other bounty hunters. This statue replicates a tender moment from The Mandalorian series. Mando stands on a spaceship - floor - inspired base, carrying Grogu, and the statue precisely details his lightsaber - resistant beskar armor. Revealed at the 'Inside Iron Studios Day' virtual event in May 2021 on Iron Studios' YouTube channel, this is one of their exciting future releases. The Mandalorian, a space - western spin - off of Star Wars, is available on Disney+. Its story unfolds between the fall of the Empire (after Episode VI) and the rise of the New Order (presented in Episode VII). It's masterfully created by Jon Favreau of Iron Man trilogy fame.
