The stun gun in this kit comes with a functional slide stun/kill button. Both the stun gun and comlock are hollow, offering space for custom electronics and lighting. The kit includes chrome and clear parts. You can build the stun gun as a Season 1 version with a flat top or a Season 2 version with two different stun/kill switch styles. It also comes with a full decal sheet featuring a likeness of Martin Landau as Commander Koenig. The Commlock and Stun Gun were standard gear for officers and security staff on Moonbase Alpha in the Space:1999 TV show. This set provides a full-scale replica of each prop used in the show! Each kit has authentic details copied from the production props such as buttons, knobs, and switches. Advanced modelers can easily add custom lighting to the models. The set offers options for three versions of the stun gun and includes viewscreen and ID badge variants on the water-slide decal sheet. To use this kit, first, carefully take out all the 57 parts molded in beige, grey, chrome, and clear. Start assembling the stun gun and comlock according to your choice of the Season 1 or Season 2 version. Remember, you'll need paint and glue as this is a skill - level 2 project. For those who want to add custom electronics and lighting, use the hollow spaces inside the stun gun and comlock. Apply the decals from the full decal sheet, which includes a likeness of Martin Landau as Commander Koenig, viewscreen, and ID badge variants. As for maintenance, keep the assembled models away from sharp objects to avoid scratches. If you painted them, don't expose them to excessive heat or moisture. For ages 10 and above, adult supervision might be needed during the assembly process, especially when using glue and paint.
